first meeting (snow & lav)

Well, no one was interested in breeding. I put them together outside the female's cage just to see if I'd run into any problems. One snapped at the other (couldn't tell who--I was busy taking pics), but neither showed any injury whatsoever. Afterward they both wandered into her cage, but still no love interest. Maybe later on.

Here's mangohead's one dark scale. He's had it since a baby, and it's gotten a little lighter over the years. Paradox or not?

I haven't seem many pics of adult snows. Pretty nice looking animals. I for one would like to see more pics of the snow.

Thanks Rainer,

She's from Gulf Coast, bought as a hatchling.

I'll work on getting more pictures up--she's really an awesome animal all around--and different light brings out different color (e.g., she looks really blue in that photo, and sometimes she looks more red or green).

In the meantime, I'll repost another picture of her taken many months ago.

BTW, I LOVE the red-eyed albino floridas, and maybe next year will be able to grab one.
