Hi all, Normally my female eats like a pig but tonight she has only eaten a few mealworms which is unlike her? Normally she eats about 10! She was put with my male about 3 weeks ago for 3 days and i was hoping she is gravid. She also shed yesterday. Any help would be appreciated. Gilbery007

You will know if she is gravid or not. She will get larger in the belly area, plus you should be able to see eggs inside her belly. They are oval and on both sides of her underside.

it ususally takes 15-20 days from the time she mates. Please dont quote me on this time frame, but this is how i calculate.

One of my females normally shed the night before she lays, roughly 10 hours. The other female is normally around 1 day before she lays, however, this can fluctuate up to three days after she shed's she will lay! Fingers crossed this is the result you are looking 4 Gilbery!

PS on my "fat" female i can never see the eggs! So they can be there and you just might not know it!

Thankyou for your replies. I am pretty sure she is gravid, but only time will tell. I looked at her belly today and checked her weight. She seems very sluggish compared to her normal skittish self which is strange. In two days she has gone from her normal self into a completely different character. Which is why i say she i think she gravid! But thankyou Gilbery007
