Hey everyone, I wanted to know how you'd feel after getting a reply like this from a "well-known" breeder. I replied amazonreptiles.com's ad for juvie leopard geckos like this:
"I've got a female boa, she's 50% het for albino and 25% het for snow,
that I'm looking to trade for geckos. I've scanned a pic of her
paperwork with a picture of her incase you're interested. Let me know."

This was the exact reply:
"50% and 25% equals NORMAL.

If you want a premium for her rather dubious genetics then good luck. I
am not the buyer.

If she is available for a normal price then please email me a pic of
HER!"

I couldn't help but feel Scott @ amazonreptiles.com was rude. He acts like I emailed him saying I wanted a lot of money for the boa when I wasn't even trying to sell it, and his use of capital letters makes it seem like he's screaming. I don't want to trade with him anymore or deal with him at any time in the future? What's your opinion?

This was my reply to him:
"Wow, you weren't very polite in your reply. Did I say she wasn't a normal boa? Did I say I wanted a premium for her "dubious" genetics? Was I even trying to sell her? All I said was I had a female boa 50%het albino and 25%het snow with paperwork, incase people were fraught with uncertainty (the meaning of dubious) and I was looking to trade for geckos. If you were not trying to be rude in your reply then I'm sorry, but using capital letters like you did makes it seem like you are screaming."

I would say thats pretty rude...i would not want to deal with them

i definately agree...unnessiscary (sp.?) rudeness lol...rediculous in my opinion...i woudln't deal with them...thanx 4 the heads-up ;D
