Hatchlings, wan't to make sure everything is perfect!!!

reptileking90 Feb 24, 2005 07:09 PM

I am expecting my first clutch to hatch in the first week in march and want to make sure everything is perfect for them. I will house each one in a mini kritter keeper with paper towel on the bottom and fake vines bunched up in the cage. with a baby food lid on the bottom for water. What temp. should I keep them at? The same as my adults?69 at night and 78 during the day? Could i feed them chicken and peach baby food mixed together every other day alternating with CGD? Tell me what you think of this and if i need to do/change any of this.

Thanks Derek

I keep my hatchlings at the same temps. as my adults, which is fluctuating room temp. I feed them just CGD too many sugars in baby food, they love the CGD. I also have been offering small crickets(pins) but they dont seem interested. Sounds like you have everything alright, but I would avoid the baby food!
