He is a hatchling musk turtle and he is cute as a button

He is about the size of a nickle.

Of course, he is nowhere near my RES, they aren't even in the same area of the house.

Just wanted to show him off

I think I am going ot call him Monty, hopefully he is a boy His bottom shell is concave, I don't know if that is a indicator in this species or not.

Not really an indicator and he/she is much too young to sex anyway. When he/she matures the tail size and thickness is quite distinct between the males and the females.

Cute. Good luck with him. Muds and musks are some of my favorites. (who am I kidding they are ALL my favorites).
