GTP breeding cage question...

md42007 Feb 24, 2005 07:44 PM

Gentle man hello, I have a Question for the experts. I have 3 GTP's two female one male all true Biak's. My females are rapidly approaching 1000 grams and I am excited to start breeding. I would like to move them all into larger cages that are side by side before I breed. I have them all i seperate Oceanic 50 gallon Lizard Lounges and they do fine. They measure 29"x24"x18". Now the space I have available is 5 foot across by 36". Meaning each cage is will be 36"x20"x24". What are your feelings? I believe the approxiamate tank value to be 55 gallons.

That size will work fine. I house my adults in cages measuring 24x16x24, 24x16x17, and a few other custom cages I built. I'll getting new cages soon and I am going with a 24 x 24 x 20. Just do what works best for you and your animals.
