Smooth as buttah...

Guy Scavone II Feb 24, 2005 10:08 PM

I haven't posted lately.. although I've been reading a ton, thank's to everyone of you that's participated in the last few IBD discussions.. great reading to say the very least.

It seems that this is always the best time of year for us Boa nuts... courting, copulating, birthing.. I can't imagine how crazy i'm going to be when I have a kid someday! Does it get much better then this?!

While I was in the snakeroom the other night checking on the boas and how the breeding battle goes these guys happened to look particularly snazzy.

Tibor Jr.

Montego

Play time...

You can certainly tell that these two are brothers, but Tibor Jr. has much more black coloration and is more crisp... while Montego has more red creeping through and his breaks in color seem to be less crisp and more faded.

I'm not sure i'll be able to look at these guys as albinos... sunglows.. snows?! Oh god there I go again

Best of luck to all of you with this breeding season quickly approaching the culmination! Can't wait to see everyone in sunny Daytona.

Thanks,

Guy Scavone II

What a beautiful pair of brothers. How big are they? And what are your future plans for these 2?

Randy, they both just pushed past 200 grams at their last weighing. As far as future plans.. it's changes every day I think.

They are both Het. for Albino so the goal is to produce an Albino Motley... but the route there will be different for both. I have a few females set aside for them next year, Coral Albino poss. Het Snow, DH Sunglow, DH Snow.... I'd LOVE to see Motley Snows, Albinos, Ghosts, Anerys... hell everything!!

Time will tell, but in the meantime I'm just happy staring at them.

Thanks,
