cornman Feb 25, 2005 12:10 AM

ok so i bought my first snake about 1 1/2yrs ago. it was sold as a corn, when i posted it's pic here to find its morph, it was decided after a topic in the cornsnake forum and another in the rat snakes forum it contatined either yellow ratsnake or everglades ratsnake, or both. i was wondering of anyone could help me deciper what it is with out a genetic test.
here is a picture showing its patternless head
sorry having trouble posting multiple pics

heres a picture of its head..(i noticed the lump in its picture i looked again its just the angle and how its sitting), also if you cant see it in this picture, it has a lot of yellow along its side by its head, it looks kinda like an anery's (corn) yellow neck

Going by the head shape my guess would be a yellow ratsnake or everglades ratsnake.

I go to rat snake forum though far from an expert lol but I think its a yellow ratsnake/corn .
I think its great looking.

and within normal range of looks for a corn snake. I really don't see what indicates the rat snake influence at all.

the reason it stands ou to me is the completly petternless head, this may not show up in pictures but belive me it is completly patternless. also it has very yellow sides, like a anery corn is by the head but all the way down its sides.
