I will poet 2 pics of a female I got as a y/b. Can anyone out there tell if this is indeed a yellow belly? Thanks in advance. Ron Radloff

I would have to see a better picture of the belly, but it kinda looks like it could be one. The only true way to put the Yellow BELLY lable on the snake is to breed it and prove it. If it produces babies like it then you are one step closer. I have a few females that look the same or close to the same as yours that I am currently working on proving out. Good luck on it. Post some better shots of her belly. Thanks David

If I had to guess, I would say YES that is A YELLOW BELLY, now you just have to PROVE it will produce more of the same or IVORY's. Then you will be on your way to making the $$$$. I would keep that snake if I got it in...for sure... Thanks and Nice PHOTO... Thanks , DAVID

Thanks... I received a private email from a big ball python breeder saying it was the real deal. I will not mention any names as they wrote to me direct. I actually have access to a couple of male yb's to breed her to. She shed yesterday and weighs 1320 grams. She has taken 7 sm/med rats for me prior to shedding so I should have no problem getting her big enough to breed. Keeping my fingers crossed... Ron

Shoot she is ready at 1300 grams, well unless she is a large skinny female. But as long as she is feeding on rats you shouldn't have any problem breeding her. My fingers are crossed for you as well, good luck, I hope she throws some baby YB's. Keep us posted. Thanks DAVID

I would have to DISAGREE with you on that Debra!!! They are variable and that looks like one to me!! How many have you actually seen, or truely OWN for that matter? Anthony McCain-McCain's Reptiles.

Here is a pick of mine I am hoping to prove out in the next few months...he has been with 3 females so far and I have observed copulation with 2 of the females....keeping my fingers crossed.
