Our Newest Addition...

wetceal Feb 25, 2005 05:47 PM

I LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, not a snake...this time! This "little" guy is our newest addition! He is currently about 3 1/2 months old and weighs approximately 23 pounds. He's got wraps on his ears to help train them to stand up but they are totally healed. We can take them off in about four or five days.

I love puppies!! They are SO cute! He is bouncy and goofy and the sweetest puppy in the world! He should be about 90 pounds or so full grown. His name is Bauer

Sean & Bauer

He sleeps a lot...

And a Boa picture so I'm not too much off topic :-D

Thanks for looking!
Celia

Beautiful pup!! My fiance and I are waiting until CA's wet season(extra wet this year) is over with before getting a puppy. The choices are between a Cane Corso and a Dobie. We might have to get both.

hognose15 Feb 25, 2005 07:46 PM

Did someone say Cane Corso?

bthacker Feb 25, 2005 09:20 PM

How old is your Corso? Where did he/she come from?

wetceal Feb 26, 2005 11:45 AM

I don't know anything about Cane Corsos but this Dobe is the sweetest dog I have ever met! He is so friendly to everyone. But I say, get both...the more the merrier!

Thanks,
Celia

There is not much nicer in this world than the smell of a puppy. Congratulations! I love the tape on its ears...kind of looks like a cross between a doberman and an antelope. Hey its a new MORPH....a DOBALOPE!!

Nice looking motley too! So as not to wander off topic. :0)

Let's see who can name that movie. LOL!
What a cutie! And, just look at those paws!
My dog was part dobie. She was the best dog I ever owned!
Congrats on the new family member.
Just remember............First comes the "family pet"........Then comes children. LOL!

I'm jealous... I want a doggie so bad... I have enough on my plate I keep tellin' myself, but damn I love dogs.

How long does he have to keep the bandages on... do they knock them out for the cropping?! Always been curious about that.

Looking forward to seeing you and Sean in Daytona again this year. Hopefully we'll find a moment to grab a drink and shoot the breeze

Love that last pic too.... how's she looking now?

Thanks,

You should definitely get one! There's nothing like a good dog. I love them!

As for the ears, his ears are actually totally healed and that's just like a soft cloth tape with little sticks his ears are wrapped around. It's supposed to help teach them to stand up. The breeder told me that when she gets her pups' ears done, they do knock them out and actually hook them up to a hear monitor and stuff.

Anyways, we'll definitely have to get together at Daytona! Looking forward to it!

Thanks,
Celia

Steve and I are looking into a pure bred bulldog or french bulldog but for some reason the funds are always tied up in snakes and caging and ohhh just about anything snake related.... LOL.. Congrats on the beautiful new addition to the family.
