Problem with Shedding...

gzyv15a Feb 25, 2005 06:13 PM

I have a yearling Leucistic Texas Rat Snake that sheds in many pieces. Just dry flaky pieces everywhere. Just curious as to why this is happening. All my other snakes in the same room have nice clean sheds. The tank is 83 on one end, 68 on the other. The snake appears healthy and eats great.

do you offer a moist hide box for it around shedding time? I would do that first.
