My toad won't drink water.......

BIG DONNIE BRASC Feb 26, 2005 11:37 AM

I know this is a collared forum, but I can't seem to get my toad to drink any water!
He's been brumating for 5 months at 20 degrees, and steadily losing weight
Any ideas?
(just kidding....this was in my back yard this morning)

You must've bought some new shoes recently, and threw those "DESSICANT SILICA GEL--DO NOT EAT" packets out your window, and the toad ate them.

All my collareds look just like that when brumating...just add one teaspoon of water (no more, no less) to the head area...it is much more absorbent here. He will be ready to mate in no time with some necrophiliac. I think you could at least have a fecal done at your local vet...geez.
