I have a female ball python about 3 ft. I've had her for a little over 2 yrs. and she has always shed in small pieces and some of it wont come off no matter how much i spray. Ihave sprayed her daily w/ tropical mist and soaked her in shed ease a couple of times. does anyone have any home remidies or suggestion on what to do.

A Humid Hide box may help. My adult male was doing the same thing when I first got him. A Humd Hide took care of that with no problems. I hope this helps.

thanks for the tip. I noticed that her hide box is kind of open so I'm going to close it off more to hold more moisture at shed time

My humid hides are a seperate hide box with Spahgnum Moss in them. Once a day I give the moss a little spray with water and the humidity usually jumps to about 60%. I only do this when their eyes turn color and are about to shed and have never had a problem with it. I hope this helps.
