mealworm beetles

I had some mealworms turn into some freaky looking beetles.Are these things ok to feed to geckos?I haven't tried yet,figured I would see if any of you know anything about this.thanks

I wouldn't do it, mostly because beetles are usually very unpalatable and secondly because their elytra are very robust and are certainly tough to digest... My opinion... I don't think their is a point when crickets and roaches are readily available...
