So I just installed the new Repti-sun 10.0 in my tank this week & so far so good. I haven't noticed any signs like I’ve heard of with the UVB Mystic bulbs yet. They don't seem to be acting too much different. Has anyone else used the new 10.0 yet?

Are you using the coil lamp of the strip. I am using a reptisun 10.0 florescent coil and havent had any issues, my liz. loves it

Are you using the compact or the Strip light? I just bought a four pack of Reptisun 10.0 Strips and will install them later on this week. A few weeks after that I will post what I think. This week I am purchasing a UV meter so I will test it then too.

I'm using the strip. How far away have you guys placed UB buls? I've put the bulb about 16 inches away from the floor.

Cool, I am getting ready to buy a new UVB bulb and will have the money in a couple of weeks, i want to see how those test out!

I have had mine in for a couple weeks now.
I did not move them at all. They are still 6 to
8 inches away. And doing fine.
Mine is the tube lights.
I am also on the UVB meter group.
And so far they are testing out fine as far
as I know.

I also ordered a meter. And will test them
when I get it.
Just for information purpose. Do not put
your meter directly towards or on the bulb
you will mess up the calibration of the meter.
Got that from the UVB group.

One of them I'm donating to Veronica at beautifuldragons.com for her dragons as well as for the testing that she does on them. I'm hoping they are as good as they claim. I figure they can't be any worse then the 5.0's, and if they are noticable better then thats a plus. Veronica if you see this post I got them!! And you should be geting it later this week.
