I got lucky and found a sexed pair of satanics. They are long-term captive and have been given a clean bill of health. I've got them set up in a smaller enclosure than the 40-gallon (as per the recommendations I've received). There is cork bark, fake vines, and a real pothos plant in there. The tank daytime temp is 72-74F and the humidity is 98%. I'll get a pic of them once they settle down a bit (I don't want to stress them out any more than they already are). The female looks a little on the chubby side, is it possible that she is gravid?

congrats, i hope they're good to you. and yea, it is possible that your female is gravid, but not definite. she coulda had a good meal before she was shipped, or maybe even something else but its hard to tell if a female phant is gravid or not unless you can monitor her weight for a longer period of time. if you notice that suddenly she looks a lot smaller some day, i would give the enclosure a good check for eggs.

Did you get your satanics at the reptile show in missisauga?

Yep. Got them from a guy who usually sells carpet pythons and leopard geckos.
Very few to no satanics available at this show. Hoping to pick up another male (maybe another female) when Neil Meister comes to the September reptile expo (assuming he has any left, they're selling like crazy!).

Thanks for the heads-up but I lucked out and got a pair. The female may be gravid but I won't know for sure for a while.

Did you see any mossys there?

Yeah, I think so (I'm still pretty new at this leaftail gecko thing). I do remember a pair of medium size (long and stretched out) geckos next to the satanics, towards the leftmost side of the table.
