With the three spots on the head and the slight neuchal stripe it looks like L. m. mexicana to me.
What is it Dan?
mex mex?
Hi Dan:
Thanks for keeping things interesting. As for this one, how about a mex mex from SLP? Further, the condition of the eyes suggests this snake is dead and was frozen, then thawed for this pic. What's the scoop?
cheers,
bob
I would have to agree it looks like a San Luis Potosi (L. mex mex). However, it looks like a light brown phase that I've never seen before and is very stunning. Does anyone else have similiar light brown mex mex's like that one in captivity?
Nice pic,
Uncloudy
It's a Mex-Mex from the UANL collection, but I don't know the locality. I'll check and see if I can find out. Dan
... to matching the ground color of my '04 male. Here he is...

But remember this one in Dan's pic has been dead and possibly frozen. But yep that is brown just like your.
I really like yours. Can't wait until you produce some like it.

I don't know which one I like better since I really did not know what makisfree ment. I take it your middle initial is a and you just got out of jail. LOL just kidding.
I think I like mexicanamak better...........
And please do share the mexmex when you produce them.

... so never any jail time for me! Well, I did get slapped in the pokey for a few hours one day when I was young and wild... came blasting into this small country town in my hot little Japanese sports car... on an expired liscsnse! OOPS!!!
makisfree... mak are my initials and the free part relates to me being proud to be livin' in the USA and able do do whatever I choose. Sure do love my country! ;o)
