San Diego Show

Nufanoo9 Jul 08, 2003 12:43 AM

This will be my first trip to the San Diego show and I was just wondering if it will be worth going (in the monitor department.) Just wondering if it's worth a 2 and a half hour drive. Thank you all in advance. Any of you here going to be there.

I have been to the San Diego shows several times and say its worth cruising down to check out and see what they have. I haven't been through those show recently due to finishing schooling but can honestly say that it is larger than the ones I have seen here by far. 2 1/2 hrs to get to San Diego? I drove from the outskirts of my campus to Dallas just to see the show. That's a 6 hour drive one way and only picked up a red tail boa and a savannah. It was nice to see some of the monitors and other herps there. I can say that the San Diego show is larger than the Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas shows as these are the only ones I have been to. I say check it out, you may run into something you like.

I will be there, and I would drive 2.5 hours for it, but I only have to drive for a fifth of that.

It is kind of funny, that it is an IRBA event, yet most of the monitors are w.c. There are some very notable exceptions though. There typically are a fair amount of monitors.
