I live in Buffalo, and my poor iggy can't wait until spring. He's been staring out the window all week long. That's when he's allowed to go outside whenever he wants through the doggy door we put in the screen door leading to the back door. As long as we're home, of course. The dog we have uses it to, but we usually have to drag her back inside with the leash, but Sir Iggy comes in by himself.
My fiance said I should take a picture with me holding my ig to post on here and truly show how large he is. I'm 5'6", 105lbs, and Sir Iggy is gigantic compared to me. I eventually will when someone else has free time to take the picture.

But what is the difference between a El Salvador Blue Iguana and a regular green iguana, if there is any?

Supposedly, they have bluer colors to them. Which was true when he was little, but now he looks just like any other adult green ig.

Wow, a 15 year old iguana!Congratulations!

10 years more than my 2 monsters?!

How long have you been keeping him?

chibicricket Mar 04, 2005 01:04 PM

I've had him since he was 3 months. I was 10 when I got him, it's been a really long time.

Extremely tame. Never hurt anyone, or anything. We have a dog, however, that's a pain.
