I have two Sulcata tortoise, approx 10lbs. each. they are currently housed in a 10 by 10 enclosure. Due to their size and eating habits i have been thinking about finding them a new home.i have heard of (tortoise farms) warm climate locations where the torts live in large outdoor enclosures.looking to find out if anyplace like this actually exsist.
thanks oz

I don't know about any "tortoise farms." But here in Arizona, most tortoise owners keep theirs outdoors year round. If you want to sell or adopt to someone here for outdoor living, I recommend you post on the AZ Herp Assn forum http://azreptiles.com

This post should be printed in large bold letters and posted next to the baby sulcattas at any Petstore that's trying to pawn them off. I mean no offense to the original poster, as petstores are the master of getting the impulse sales.
