What is wrong with gravid female

joeycoco98 Feb 27, 2005 07:48 PM

I bred my female the week of valentines day. For some reason she is showing no interest in food. She is a 2000 female Florida Kingsnake. She has only eaten once since her last mating, once mouse. I am concerned she will not have enough nutrition to produce eggs as well as maintain good health. Should I be worried?

Thanks!

Gravid females will often refuse larger meals or meals in general. Instead of mice, offer her 2 or 3 hoppers instead.
