hey everyone im looking to get a adult female snow dragon just somequestions about them

how much will one cost,
who is a good breeder to get them from that goes to the narbc show in pa,
i have a reg adult male with my almost gold female(at least she lookes it) breeding right now,
if i get a snow female and breed it with my norm male what will the babys look like will any look like a snow,

is a 4' by 32" by 2' cage to house 3 adult bds or bigger my male is 11 inches(halft tail is gone and female is 17"

i hear my male and female should just me in for breeding but when they apart my male doesnt eat only when he is with the female so i keep them together, he takes care of her, not aggresive well bc the female is 6 inches bigger just tail,

so is this ok bc i had them apart for this weekend ANF them and the male and female didnt eat anything, well the female was just digging, but no bugles

thanks tom

From what I've heard and read you need at least a six foot long and four foot wide tank to keep a pair together. I know how you feel with your pair. I was give a male and female pair before anyone knew what their sexes were. I just found out recently that they're of the opposite sex and I have the same problem when I try to seperate them. My male would be just fine on his own but my female goes nuts when they're appart. I've also found out that its cheaper to build your own enclosure than trying to buy one. I'm about to build a new tank for my dragons since I can't seperate them and the materials for what I want is going to cost about two hundred dollars compared to buying something a little smaller for four hundred. As far as what a snow costs or who's a good breeder I have no idea. Personally I've never seen a snow but I'd love to have one as well. Then again I'd love to have a zoo but for now I'll deal with my pair. If you find a snow breeder please let me know for future reference. Good Luck

If you are planing on having three dragons you will defiantely need a bigger cage than that.

Generally it is not a good idea to house males and females, at least on a 1:1 ratio together permanantly, but as you have found out, sometimes they get really attached. if the snow you are planning on getting is an adult you may have problems introducing her to the pair you already have...take things very slowly and be prepared to house her seperately if it doesn't work out
