Pacman Frogs

tetrafish2 Jul 08, 2003 02:39 AM

Wats up everyone. I am thinking about buying a pacman frog. But if I do get one, I want it to get big (preferably over 6 inches). Is there a special diet you can feed pacman frogs to get them big and healthy? Also which one gets bigger: Cranwell or Ornate Horned? Or is there even a diff? Thanks for help ppl...

There's not really much size difference, just go with what one you think is healthier and looks more attractive to you. Males are much smaller than the females, so it's just a game of chance whether or not you get a really big one. And if you dust it's food reguarly with calcium suppliment it will stay healthy and continue to grow. Not really any special food to get them to grow bigger. And make sure you have a 10 gallon aquarium with a lid for them, the lid being there so that nothing gets in the tank with the frog.
