orangeness

well i went out of town for a couple days to san francisco and when i got back tonight i checked on all the kids and that little gertie has orange spots all over her! ivan's orange is fading and there were two deformed eggs in the cage but she still looks lumpy. i have no idea what was up with that, any ideas?
i will have to keep an eye out on kaiser's breeding, if i don't see anything soon then i will stick her in with walter, god knows he will do it.

A HAPPY site indeedy! Little Gerty, wont be little anymore once she mingles, with the DUDES, heheeee.

As far as Ivan, watch that girl. I'm not even sure if I would allow her to get gravid Vonnie, if shes having all the calcium difficulties. And just laying the infertile eggs you found.
You will make the right decision, I'm sure.

I am NOT pushing my Hopi this season either, she was having some twitches after laying 3 clutches last year. Have to see!

well ivan has only been gravid for like two weeks, if that long. it was very early to be laying those eggs. she did this once last season too and then laid regular eggs later. do you think they were left over from last year? she did not even bother burying them or anything. she is still lumpy like she has other eggs in her and i am pretty sure she is pregnant because walter is, well, walter. after this clutch do you think i should make her live alone? that would be rather lonely. she is no longer twitching at all. maybe she can live with kaiser since he does not seem interested. i guess i can just have some "swinging" lizards
