Right out of the egg, LOL.

I was told that the white appears gradually as they age. ???

I looked some pictures of this species up on the gallery, and saw some young ones with extreme white, and that got me a little confused.

Is this INFACT a White-Sided that I have, or something else??? It was posted as White-Sided on the container also.

LOL...atleast im right about the Everglades :D

Looks like a nice normal black rat to me. A white sided rat would be painfully obvious.

well atleast now I know what it REALLY is

That one is beautiful by the way, thanks for sharing

It's probably het for licorice stick. that means if you bred it to a licorice stick female you would get about 1/2 licorice stick and 1/2 regular black rat snakes. I have a female licorice stick and a male black rat het for licorice stick. They're both great animals.. you wont be dissapointed! Beauty of a glades you got there also!
