Just a thought and to help bring out your photos a little more, try using some florescent lighting. Don't shine the light directly above the animals but instead have someone hold it up behind you and the camera. Unless there is glass between your camera and your animal, it should make for a nice picture.

heres my current collection , lots of animals here , but boas n pythons are up there at the top of my collection as favs.
snakes:
2.0 ball pythons
1.0 argentine boas
0.1 rainbow boas
1.1 hog island boas
1.1 gtps
and here are the lizards:
2.4 crested geckos
1.1 gargoyle geckos
1.0 hypo leos
0.1 striped fat tails
2.2 bearded dragons
1.0 veild chameleons
0.1 red ackies
1.0 henkels leaf tail geckos
1.0 giant day geckos
2.1 eastern red spotted newts
2.3 baby beardies ( going soon though)
all animals that are in pairs , or trios, etc. are being bred , or are going to breed soon, at the moment , n im anxiously awaiting some eggs from my crested geckos. gtps are really a step up for me , i got my male a year ago , n have fallen in love w them since , a buddy of mine hooked me up w the aru , shes incredible. i cant wait till these two breed.
o p.s i have cats , hedgehogs , n some gerbils , that have been alive for 5 years now , n i would have fed them to the snakes by now , besides the fact that they just mean alot to me. kinda ironic that once a week im feeding their cousins to my snakes , lol. thanx for the replies

heres the tank , its kinda small , but they seem to be doing well , n ive furnished it w live plants n such , they seem to enjoy it a whole lot. when i get my new rack units , within a month or so , im moving them up into a nice big 60 gallon tall , w plants n other foliage , n mebbe even some running water. i love making naturalistic set ups , n these guys fit it so well....
