well this is new to me...

one of my new male phants does something very peculiar time to time. just yesterday, i was looking over the group of larger phants, most of which hang out in the bare branches as they sleep. this male always sleeps in the ficus, and yesterday as i first looked in on him, he seemed alive for the fact he was still gripping onto branches, but when i revealed his face, his tongue was hanging out just a little bit and not moving, which made me think that he had suddenly died. but when i reached in and picked him up, all of the sudden he was animated. i was shocked, but relieved. now of the group of 6 that i got in, this was the only one to show signs of dehydration, and of that it was only very slight, so i went ahead with the showers and pedialyte. he's been eating and drinking, so in my mind he's improving, but im still working to get him to 100%. has anyone else ever seen any phantasticus just hang its tongue out? i saw him doing it a second time and actually got a pic, which ill upload in a second. jason, im wondering if by any chance you noticed anything like this out of him? does anyone have any possible explanations?
