By the way, how long is the acclimation period for these guys?

1) adjust shutter speed on camera, it will help with the clarity of your picture if your hand isn't perfectly still.
2) remove perlite and whatever else may be in the soil in the plant in the background.
remove as much soil as possible and replace it with a top soil that doesn't contain and fertilizers/perlite/vermiculite.
