My snapping turtles eyes have turned milky. Its like he has some sort fungus or disease in them. Im pretty sure its not just that hes in shed because its been like this a while. Ive had him 14 years and ive never seen it. Thanks for the help.

Hi,
sounds like cataracts (sp?) to me. While 14 isn't exactly 'over-the-hill' for a snapper, it's still getting on up there and reptiles, just like humans suffer the effects of aging. If it seems to be causing him problems, I would have it checked out by a vet. Christy
