Lets Talk Patterns....

I'm very interested in the patterns of hognose snakes. I currently have a male western with pretty symmetrical brown smudges down his back, and darker spots along the side. In some pictures I see multiple dots on top, or a mixture of smudges and dots....

Are these regional? By sex?
What are the more interesting/rare patterns? Are there certain patterns that are more desirable?

Pictures would be great too!
Thanks!
Rose

I think pattern is completely genetics (random). I like the perfect pattern with complete bands and no break ups. One of my males is almost perfect except for a "heart" shape blotch from two bands merging. It's either that or the bands split into two spots evenly ALL the way down. Just my preference.
