2003 Double het (albinism & melanism) California Kingsnake

Kerby... Feb 28, 2005 10:35 PM

Going to be breeding a few of these this year. Should get some albinos, some melanistics, and statistically (1/16) - maybe some blizzards. New blood lines!

It's like Christmas every August/September when they start to hatch!

Going herping tomorrow since the weather is finally starting to warm up.

I don't know if you have or not, but you should try Thayeri for variation within a clutch. X-mas in the summertime and No morphs needed.........
Damn I lose a lot of sleep around June-August...If you know what I mean.
Good luck Kerby....I am sure they will all come out beautiful...They always do.

I used to raise thayeri in the late 90's. For me though, they were finicky feeders.

Gotta go pick up Scott in a few minutes and head to lower elevation.
