Just curious about this boa

phiber_optikx Mar 01, 2005 04:34 AM

I am considering purchasing a tree boa and am wanting to know a little about them. Are they high maintenance or relatively easy to take care of? What are their basic requirements? And about how long do they get? Also I want a specific type which I found a picture of on a website. I was wondering that if I order it will it look like the one in the picture and if maybe somebody knew the name of the particular morph... I don't know how to paste pictures here so I will just post the url. http://www.zoologicalimports.com/snakes.htm third row down far left. Thanks, feel free to e-mail me with answers. that would be your basic ATB. They tend to be aggressive though I have had one or 2 that I could handle with out being bit, I have had more that drew blood :0 they get about 6 feet but stay thin (about half the size of you wrist if that) the adults seem pretty hardy and little trouble
