chameleon trees

small_town36 Mar 01, 2005 10:19 AM

Hi my chameleon is rapidly starting to outgrow his terrarium and instead of spending a lot of money I want to buy some plants and vines and zone off an area in my room where he can just hang out uncaged. I know most of the plants that I need (hibiscus, draecena, ficus benjamina, spider plant etc.) but I am wondering what sorts of small trees could i put in my room to let him hang out on. Ive heard of fig trees but theres all sorts so what i am asking is what type of small trees are safe to use? Also is it a good idea to let a chameleon be uncaged? If anyone has any answers or tips on setting up this kind of housing and nice plants to use it would be greatly appreciated.
