I've had this little one for 2 weeks, I haven't seen him eat. I would assume he would be much skinnier if he wasn't eating---but I am not a night owl to stay up till 4 am to watch him. He doesn't like the red light I bought him, he just falls back asleep under it (at night). I have a Black light bulb, but I'm afraid that will damage his eyes.
This pic is of him about 5 minutes ago, I think he woke up because the pump was making noise (I have a submerged pool that has a pump in it to trickle down stones and recirculate).
Just paranoid, as always. Any advice from breeders or long time keepers would be most welcome.

12 assorted freswater fish (and growing)
2 Koi (peppermint, mr. winkie)
3 WOW char (they are pets too.)
Even us girls can like slimey scaley and squishy things.
