My snapping turtle has something wrong with his eyes. They have turned milky. He is 14 years old. Its not dead skin cause its been like this a couple weeks. Thanks for the help.

Assuming there is no respiratory or local eye infection, it may be due to fatty deposits in the cornea caused by diet. Personally, I have never seen this on a turtle (and I have many over 15 years as adults) but it is not uncommon in frogs. Anyone else have any comment?
