Ok so why on earth would he do this? Ewww sort of grossed me out. He has a very good diet too, so i cant imagine he is lacking anything. Was just wondering if you guys had experienced this with your iggys? Thanks Tami

Yeah, my leos do that, but I've never actually seen my ig do that. It is kinda gross, and a little strange, but it can't hurt them, so whatever.

i have a leo too! all leos eat there skin. my iguanas only do it once in a blue moon though, but its nothing to worry about. most iguanas give everything a taste. once one of my igs tried to eat a penny! keep them pennies off the floor! -brandy
