In the venomous classified there are several ads for venomoids. That whole issue aside, the pictured snakes are in FILTHY enclosures full of soiled bedding and feces. Mind you these animals are being sold for upwards of $500!!
Dont support these BOZO's !!!
Treat the animals with respect!! Dont you folks realize how many agencies cruise these pages!!!! What they see gives them more ammo to pass laws like New York.

and a venomoid producer that happens to sell in New York when I GUARANTEE he doesn't sell them with the aid of a VRI or licensed vet.......thus making him a double threat when it comes to breaking the law. Here's the beautiful thing about that particular place, he CANNOT legally produce venomoids without purchasing more snakes, which is now ILLEGAL to do so, even if someone is grandfathered in. So here's the way I look at it, if I can't purchase anymore hots in NY, I'm SURE AS HELL not going to let someone illegally purchase and butcher beautiful creatures so that they can fill their pockets, when I can't LEGALLY purchase them myself. I figure since I can't fight for the cause of keeping hots in NY anymore, then I'll fight for the cause of making sure vendors like him, as well as others in other states, can't butcher these snakes for their own pleasure. There are NUMEROUS government officials that frequent these forums, these classified's, and other forums. At some point, something WILL be done about them. I just hope they don't ruin it for the rest of the people who can keep hots. Especially when the HSUS and PETA are such a strong voice with the government.

Im not ragging on anyone at all, so please dont take this wrong, but where do you get this information about legislators frequenting the forums? Seriously, if they're that interested in us, you'd think it would affect us either postively or negative. Im all for our government paying attention to us, I just wish they'd be more effective in fishing out the bozos who screw things up for us.

I think I may have mispoken and there was a slight misunderstanding. When I said "government officials", I meant Fish and Game, Department of Enviro Conservation, USDA, wildlife officials, not legislators. They couldn't care less about coming into these forums, I do know of a few that have, don't know if they still do. There are many people that do pop into these forums that never speak, some of high stature in different places, some even in the herp sector. You'd be surprised to know some of the people that sandbag.

I personally speak with some of these agencies on a DAILY basis and they tell me what they see or ask if what they saw was for real. Trust me, they are VERY INTERESTED in what we are doing and it will be BOZO's that ruin it for us all. If I were the average person wanting to get into hots now? I would take a job at a zoo, research facility or like place. That will be the only place you will be able to work with hots and get documentable experience which will help you in the future with permitting. If things keep going the way they are? A zoo or like place will be the only place where you can work with hots because they will be outlawed everywhere else. The Patriot Act encompasses more than you think.
