I've heard two rumors in this area.
One is that "normals" with white bellies make stunning pastels when bred into pastel lines.
The other is that pastel het stripes are extraordinarily nice looking.
So, if you happen to have a female with a 3 scale wide white belly pick her as the one to breed your pastel to just in case.
The striped one will be harder to test because who is going to give up even a possible het striped girl to breed to anything other than a stripe line male. Maybe eventually I'll get a pastel girl to test that one.

Personally I want to produce a Hypo super pastel my ream snake right now is a hypo super pastel mojave! Im a loooong way off that one but I will do it!!!!
