breeding.....do you need a license?

i am curious because i am thinking about breeding some ball pythons.....do you need a license to breed? what about to sell? and if so how do you go about getting these.....thanks

Check with your fish and wild life folks. In Florida to sell reptiles you need a class 3 permit. Do half the folks out there have one, I doubt it but its cheap and easy so don't get in trouble if you don't have to.

Not only to sell but to display. And the Class III is only for certain animals. But you are right, it's fairly easy to get but I bet most don't have it - I do!
