Leachianus can be just as docile as other Rhac's, however, just like any of the other Rhac's handling should be kept to a minimum and generally only if necessary, such as weighing, cleaning the tank, or just checking on them in general, keeping them out for long periods of time can lead to stress.

Leachi's can vary, I know some that are very aggressive, others are only aggressive in their territory and then become docile once taken out, and others are completely docile when handled. I prefer to leave my leachi alone, he is never threatening when my hand is in the tank, however, I feel that holding him can be stressful and because he is large i dont want him to take a jump and hurt himself.

I only remove him from his tank for cleaning, same with all my other Rhac's as well.

for smaller leachi's that is good for a MINIMUM however i would recommend something closer to a 40 or 50 gallon but you dont want length, you want heighth.

leachianus are great geckos! most leachies are easy to handle and have a good personality. usually the larger morphs, GT leachie can be aggressive at times but usually only during breeding. if you handle them enough they will become extremly tame geckos
