calcium sacs

does anyone else have phants with calcium sacs this big? just wondering if this is common? thanks
my henkle have them as well

im curious...thats a female, right? actually, the only phant ive seen with calcium sacs that big was on a new arrival that was in bad shape otherwise. i think they tend to really swell when egg-laying is about to occur, but thats not really a guarantee.. if you notice that the sacs suddenly deflate, i would check for eggs. i would also maybe go easy on the calcium supplementation, ive heard of calcium sacs becoming so large that animals can develop difficulty swallowing prey, but ive seen even small phants take in crix bigger than i thought they could.

oh yea, and on a side note, my pietschmanni have large swelling calcium glands, but the male doesnt develop them nearly as large as the females.

All my phants and breeding eban's have them. I had one female that had huge one's a few months ago. 4 eggs later... not so big. Anyways, it seems to be a normal thing from the number I've seen. Just make sure to mix up the supplements every once in a while.
