Help with WC Ball pythons...

Toddg Mar 01, 2005 10:36 PM

Hey all,

I recently received three ball pythons that were supposes to be LTCs the seller raised since hatchlings. Here is a link to fill you in:

http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65274

What is the recommended medicinal procedure for WC snakes? I have found a few ticks on one animal which my wife and I removed. There is no evidence of a mite infestation, thank God!Also, these so called LTCs are probably WC specimens. What to do about internal parasites as well?

Any and all comments would be most appreciated.

TIA,
Todd

Funny enough I had a nice detailed, lengthy and probably educational post all lined up but my computer froze before I could click send!
Unfortunetly I'm lazy and am not going to retype it but the gist of it was that you should find a herp experienced vet and begin the recommended deworming protocols. In the future, when your more experienced is the time to begin deworming on your own.

Good luck and have fun with your snakes

ps, I only can judge your experience by the questions you ask and thus this is my best reply.
