"golden"

jimhellwig19 Mar 02, 2005 12:11 AM

i have this small (~1.5" tree frog that was sold to me as a golden tree frog but it seems as though there are several different ideas as to what a golden tree frog is. the guy i got it frog knew neither it's latin name nor home region. its care requirements are similar to a wtf and he had some slightly larger ones of the same kind, but that's all i really know. can anyone advise me on how to get some more specific info on my pet, maybe identify its species? ed

It's probably Polypedates (Rhacophorus) leucomystax but there is no way to identify it for certain without a good photograph. Good luck,

The easiest way would be to click the photo gallery link at the top of the page here. Sign up for a new acount and upload the photo of the frog you have on your computer to the appropriate gallery. Then post a new message and select your picture from the drop down menu titled "Select Image From Photo Gallery"
