Have you tried stunning the mice before feeding it to your snake? I do this for my picky eaters and hasn't been a problem - no bites so far. If your snake for some reason STILL wont eat the stunned mouse you can prevent it next time by using a ball point pen, and when the snake strikes put the pen between the mouses teeth so it wont bite your beloved pet. Hope this helps =)

Just a shot in the dark, but maybe you could try rat pinkies. I've never seen one do anything but pee once it got snatched. If it's too small maybe you could try 2. I used to do it with my red tail till I got him to take F/T.

What kind of boa is it?? If it was my snake i would skip a feeding and try a freshly killed mouse. Get yourself a 12" tong and do some acting with the mouse. If the snake is an agressive feeder, switching it over to f/t should not be to hard. Clint
