Even with 3 legs, she's still an escape artist, I have to secure everything!
The first time she got out, without ME letting her out--I freaked... I tore the place apart...
It's not funny, but she ended up on my sisters bed, sleeping with my sister--I told her to wake up so I could check her bed for Samara, and sure enough, she was right under the pillow next to her.
Hehe.
Okay, first question--Lately, she has gotten real jumpy when I get her out, she's always been like this, but not QUITE as bad, she'll thrash around when I pick her up, or when I move my hand towards her, she's jerk back, like i'm going to hit her. She has never tried to bite me though. I handle her as much as possible, at the very least she gets taken out 4 times a week for at least 10 minutes. Sometimes I don't have a problem at all, she's just an angel.
She freaks out when I take her outside also...
I would like to potty train her, both inside the cage, and outside the cage... I hear if you put them in water it works... But I get the feeling everytime she has to "go" she won't just hobble over to the water...? Is there another way?
I'd to get her to settle down a bit when she's out free-roaming. Sometimes she's fine, I can even at times, roll her on her back... She lets me pick off the shedding around her mouth and eyes whenever it's just hanging off without a problem, but sometimes she is jerky, and when she gets bigger, it's going to scare the piss out of me. She's about 2 ft now, she has a REALLY long tail, and it probably somewhere around a sub-adult, and recently she just SHOT up, she got huge within' a couple days...Talk about a growth spurt it was like the hulk!
Just posted to see if anyone wouldn't mind offering a little advice!
Thank you for your time!
