Parazap???

niki_athena Mar 02, 2005 11:30 AM

Hello everyone,

First of all, Ezra is doing fine he self brumated and filled out pretty fast after becoming a little thin. Annabella wants to brumate, but I wouldn't let her because her tail was a little thin. After forcefeeding her a little while she began eating again. Then she decided to stop, and so I was like okay she know's its winter. She's drinking water but her tail's become real skinny by today . Cory's fine.

I bought Parazap it came in yesterday.

I gave Ezra and Annabella 1 cc of Parazap tea. Cory drank .75 cc. The tea had a strong, familar smell, but I didn't recognize the ingredients. I looked them up for common names, here's my list.

Juglins nigra - Black Walnut Leaf
Artimisia absinthium - Wormwood
Syzgium aromaticum - Clove
Tabebuia impetiginosa - Purple Trumpet Tree

I don't put much trust in herbal remedies, so I looked up more information on them. They all have been used in history for things that might help my babies. Cloves definitely were what I smelled when I opened the bottle. One ingredient make me a little alarmed -

Wormwood http://www.ghorganics.com/

I am hoping it will stimulate Annabella's appetite because she spit out a cricket that I that I popped in her mouth :O she's never refused a forcefed bug.

Hi Niki, I use it and have never encountered any problems what so ever.
Yes the cloves are a bit strong smelling, funny thing is, I have never had any of mine refuse it in water

Also I always noticed a difference in appetite a couple weeks after. Your supposed to use it for a certain amount of days. Then stop.

I now treat new wc's with panacur first, then a few times during the year I will use the parazap as a Preventative measure.
