Do you think its possible........???

repzoo44 Mar 02, 2005 04:01 PM

to produce a spider pattern with an all white background. Anybody see this as a possibility down the road. The thought just popped in my head, thought it would be a nice looking snake. Any response welcome.

Now that would be a very sexy looking snake! With all of the incredible morphs that are being created, I don;t see why not. I mean, I'm sure someone will figure out a way to do it at some point.

Thats what Im thinking too. Im just wondering if anyone has any kind of theory about what snakes to breed and what roads to take to get there.

if you create an axanthic spider to get rid of the yellows in the pattern and then find a genetic anery ball python to get rid of the reds should get rid of all the browns and create a black and silver to white ball python. then again if someone can prove out a genetic desert/artic ghost mixed with a spider would do the same thing. just my thoughts

. . .and ask him to send you photos of his neat looking spider. I guess he had one that shed all it's color out as it aged, and it looks just like you described. Black and white/silver. It's completely wild looking.
