Corns do not have a reputation for cannabalism. But I wouldn't advise keeping adults with babies.

Gentle handling is not a problem. Turning the eggs over MAY be damaging. Some say yes, others say no, and I say err on the side of caution. Dropping three feet to the floor or hard shaking is likely to kill the embryo.
Hope this helps.

I found a couple ants on one of my eggs today, can ants or other insects harm eggs?

This is one of the many questions that I don't know the answer to. My guess is that when two ants find food, they will lead a multitude to it. And that a multitude of ants could damage the eggs. So I will err on the side of caution and recommend keeping the ants away from the eggs.
