Aspen Bedding safe to use with Ball Pythons?

lonegreywolf20 Mar 02, 2005 05:15 PM

I just want to make sure that Aspen is ok to use with Ball Pythons as a substrate. I am currently using paper towels and newspapers, but I would like to make the tank a little nice looking overall. I have seen that it is ok, but I want to make sure form those who use it.

Yes, it is fine to use. Several people here use it with no problems.

I use only Aspen for my Bp's and I know the good people over at VPI use it almost exclusively for theirs as well. Good luck.

Aspen works fine for Balls - Personally I think it smells like wet dog and it's messy - But the snakes don't seem to mind.
