possible solutions.

1) get over it. you're feeding 'em to your snake, plus your body can stand the nutrition. The human body is designed to be omnivoric.. you have the front teeth for ripping meat and back for grinding vegetables and such.

2) get a seperate freezer.

3) vacuum seal them... come on it's not like they're gonna hurt anything. Heck use a friggin ziploc. The smellof the pinks wont get through that.

4) (very expensive) find a local pet store that sells indvidual pinks.

5) make good friends with your neighbor and stick them in his/her freezer

Nope. Definately has to be fed mice. Although, some ball pythons are so picky that they only like gerbils or pink polka-dotted chinchillas, etc. If this is your first snake, and you have feeding concerns, a ball python isn't right for you. 99.99% are wild caught, and as a species, many people have feeding issues with them because white mice are not native to Africa. From your post, I don't think it sounds like a good idea.

Perhaps a garter snake would be better suited for you. They eat goldfish. You just put the goldfish in the water bowl. No freezer, no mice, no worries.

I can't say that I agree with sydney about 99.9% being caught in the wild. Go to a reptile show and get a baby. More likely than not it is captive breed. Make sure the snake is already being feed frozen thawed and you should't have any problem feeding it. The snake won't be eating pinkys for long though. It will go on to adult mice and rats. Buy in bulk at the reptile show and you will save a lot. If you want a snake, you need to get over being sqweemish about feeding mice/rats. I keep mine in ziplock baggies and in a tupperware container. Better to feed them frozen thawed than live. Safer for the snake and more humane for the mice.
